Oratory competition on good governance held at CUJ

Ranchi, Dec 18: The Central University of Jharkhand today organised a competition on oratory on “Use of Technology and Innovations in Promoting Good Governance”.

The competition on oratory (Bhaashan Sailee) was part of the “Good Governance Day” to be observed on January 25 on the occasion of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary.
Vice chancellor Prof A N Misra in his speech highlighted the importance of good governance.

Prof Misra said democracy is a “chosen” means of good govcernance.

Prof Jeuty Barooah, chairperson of the seminar committee in her welcome note made a brief account of the programme and Dr L K Sharma, co-ordinator of the programme proposed the vote of thanks.

About 22 participants comprising 18 students, two research scholars and two teachers spoke on the occasion.
